"Don't You Know I'm In A Band" - Confidence Man
My personal favourite from the Melburnian (Melburnite?) synth-dance-punk-pop-whatever's debut album which is released this very day. (linkage after the jump)

"(I'm Tired Of) Western Shouting" - MIEN
Ah, lovely, dirgy, noisy MIEN goodness from MIEN's debut album MIEN.

"Places To Go" - Shinobi Ninja
Not new new music (but new to me - tipped in by a bot marshalled singer @EdaraBabyG), and this somewhat low-key vid barely scratches the surface of what these Brooklyn types actually do... the album "Bless Up" has hip hop bits, rock bits, acoustical bits, synth pop bits, dub reggae bits... sort of reminds me of "Times Up" era Living Colour in that regard.

"Curse Of The Contemporary" - LUMP
Laura Marling and Tuung's Mike Lindsay are doing the supergroup project thing. Happily, this is wonderful in sort of glitched PJ Harvey way and the accompanying video is pleasingly fluffy.

"Millennial Trash Blues" - Jo Passed
What a marvellous noisy curio this is. Kindly deploy at maximum volume.

"Confirmation" - Westerman
Soothing, synthy pop ballad that completely refuses to go where you think it will.

"Gucci Gucci" - The Homesick
There is a special place in my heart and a circle of Hell* specifically reserved for people who write pop tunes in 7/4. Trippy Dutch quasi-psychadelic goodness.
