"White Ferrari" - JFDR
In which Icelandic experimentalist Jófríður Ákadóttir takes Frank Ocean's already fantastic "White Ferrari" and improves it further by drenching it in waves glorious processed ambience.

"Lotus" - Gang Gang Dance
They're back, and as someone who adored "MindKilla" way back when I'll admit I was a smidge unsure about this... it didn't have enough corners. It's a grower though.

"Bitter Moon" - Garden City Movement
Step one: write good hook/chorus. Step two: set the slapback delay to August 1987. Step three: profit?

"Lucy (feat. Odie)" - Still Woozy
I will admit to being overly partial to the distortion created by timestretching and pitchshifting things to pieces, but the backing to this has it in spades. Adds just the right amount of quirk to an already decent summery pop tune.

"Arms Of Pleonexia" - Cabbage
Cabbage is the coffee I need to get me going this morning. Best thing to come out of Manchester since the bloke who maintains my mohawk left.

"Mama Milker" - Gloria
Fell in love with this French psych-pop band as a result of their tune "Exotica" a couple of years back, but this song is more in the "dirty 60s-esque girl pop wonderment" camp, with magnificent harmonies and bloody hell it's only got an actual bloody guitar solo in it.

"Quarrel" - Moses Sumney
Behold the slightly bizzare new video for "Quarrel", in which the talented Mr. Sumney turns his prodigiously lovely voice to the forbidden love between horse and man (kidding). Stick around to the very end - this gorgeous song starts small and goes suitably epic (if not a bit 70s Battlestar Galactica - you'll see what I mean).
